Festival ANIMINIMIST supports youth creativity and cultural education with an engaging programme at the beginning of the school year, for audiences from preschoolers to high school students.
Accessible screenings include adapted sessions for audiences with special needs.
Weekday morning programmes during the festival are aimed at school and youth groups, while weekend screenings are for families.
The programme is accompanied by educational materials available on the Arkaader platform and the festival website. Schools can also invite instructors to lead hands-on workshops with early booking.
In collaboration with Animakool, we invite all young creators in Estonia to join the spring animation competition. Selected entries will be featured in the festival’s youth competition programme.
The international competition programmes will be evaluated by children’s juries, alongside an audience vote. Jury and audience favourites will be awarded at the end of the festival.
ANIMINIMIST offers a behind-the-scenes look into the world of animation, along with hands-on workshops.
During the festival week, visitors can tour animation studios, meet filmmakers, and explore an animation exhibition at the Filmimuuseum, which will later tour around Estonia.
