ANIMINIMIST

ANIMINIMIST is an international animation festival dedicated to young audiences, showcasing a carefully curated selection of animated shorts created for children and youth.

This inclusive and accessible festival presents age-tailored programmes for a wide range of viewers — from preschoolers to high school students

Beyond the screenings, the festival opens the door to the world behind animation. Visitors can take part in hands-on workshops, visit an animation exhibition at the Filmimuuseum, tour animation studios and meet filmmakers.

In collaboration with Animakool, the festival invites young creators to take part in an animation competition.

The children’s and youth animation festival ANIMINIMIST is a sister of festival Animist Tallinn.
